Our partnership with insurers

We’ve teamed up with most private insurers to simplify the process for making a claim for natural disaster damage. From 30 June 2021, most insurers assess, manage and settle claims on our behalf. This streamlines the claims process and gives you a central point of contact.

NHC Toka Tū Ake manages a small number of claims. Please contact us if:

  • your insurer is not listed as one of our partners below
  • you want to discuss a claim for damage that happened before 30 June 2021
  • you are a Direct NHCover customer.

Contact your insurer

There are nine private insurers who are a part of the partnership, and they represent over 20 insurance brands. Please contact your insurer, or insurance broker to make a new claim, or for an update on an existing claim.
